Rik Toulon is General Counsel of AGBO, the independent multi-media studio founded by Anthony & Joe Russo and Mike Larocca, where he oversees all legal and business affairs as well as corporate matters. Prior to AGBO, Rik was the founding Executive Vice President and General Counsel of CBS Films, a mini-major motion picture studio, and an Equity Partner in the Entertainment and Media Group of the international law firm of Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, where he represented marquis entertainment and media clients. He has spent years working with major studios, independent production companies, television networks, new media distribution platforms, video game publishers, toy creators, visual effects companies, investors, producers, writers, rights holders and other institutional and individual clients on various transactions, including the development, production, financing and distribution of numerous feature films and acting as lead entertainment counsel on multi-billion dollar transactions involving the acquisition of 2 major motion picture studios. Rik is also a long-time member of the Planning Committee of the USC/Beverly Hills Bar Association Institute on Entertainment Law and Business, and the Cornerstone Society of the Point Foundation, the nation’s largest scholarship-granting organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer students of merit. Rik received a BA degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and a J.D. degree from the University of Southern California, and resides in Los Angeles and Rome with his husband.
