When deciding between schools, what made you decide to pick USC?
As a transfer student, I was nervous to come to such a highly regarded institution. USC makes a big campus feel small. I truly feel bonded to this school and the students. Within the theater community and most of my general education courses, class sizes are small, allowing students to create a meaningful and impactful relationship with their professor. USC provides support for students to allow them to explore each and every one of their passions. USC celebrates diversity and unique storytelling in the heart of one of the entertainment capitals of the world.

How has being an SDA student helped you be a stronger artist?
Not only am I pushed by my professors to be the best artist I can be, but also by my fellow classmates. Every student has a unique perspective which allows me to improve my craft. I’ve never felt so inspired and excited to go to class as I do at USC. Professors at USC teach us to fail forward and that mistake-making is okay. They teach us how to be the artists we want to be and how to step into the industry and be successful in a way that is fulfilling.
