USC alumni light up Broadway

Broadway is full of Trojans living their dreams onstage.

Walk amid the glamor and bright lights of New York’s famous theatre district and you’re bound to run into a Trojan living their dream on the Great White Way. Here are just a few of the recent Broadway shows that featured our talented alumni:

  • Quinn Blades (BA ’19) is performing in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Lyric Theatre.
  • Brandon Mel Borkowsky (BFA ’23) plays John in Sunset Boulevard (St. James Theatre).
  • Charl Brown (BA ’01) plays Steve Pieters in Elton John and Jake Shears’ Tammy Faye at the Palace Theatre.
  • Kate Cannova (BA ’03) serves as a producer for Swept Away, Romeo + Juliet, Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club, An Enemy of the People, Funny Girl and more.
  • Erica Dasher (BA ’08) performed as an understudy in Tom Stoppard’s Leopoldstadt at the Longacre Theatre.
  • Adi Dixit (BFA ’21) served as the alternate for Pi in The Life of Pi (Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre).
  • Stephen Edlund (BA ’08) was the associate director for The Music Man and Mrs. Doubtfire.
  • Anthony Edwards (’82) will be seen in Roundabout’s production of The Counter, and performed in Prayer for the French Republic at the Manhattan Theatre Club’s Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.

  • Ryan Eggold (BFA ’06) plays Marcus in Yellow Face at the Todd Haimes Theatre.
  • Ido Gal (BA ’19) served as a producer on The Sign in Sidney Brustein’s Window at the James Earl Jones Theatre.
  • Shiloh Goodin (BA ’06) performed in Life of Pi (Schoenfeld Theatre) and in the ensemble of Paradise Square (Ethel Barrymore Theatre).
  • Sarah Yejin Hahm (BA ’19) served as assistant director for KPOP: The Musical at Circle in the Square Theatre.
  • Briga Heelan (BA ’09) performed in the Britney Spears jukebox musical Once Upon a One More Time at the Marquis Theatre.

  • Grant Heslov‘s (BFA ’86) Good Night and Good Luck will open on Broadway starring co-writer George Clooney.
  • Stephen Jensen (BFA ’17) was on the sound design team for the Tony Award-winning production of The Outsiders and Here Lies Love.
  • Jinwoo Jung (MFA ’16) starred in KPOP: The Musical at Circle in the Square Theatre. Read Jinwoo’s Q&A from around the opening of KPOP here.
  • Alice M. Pollitt (BFA ’15) will serve as Assistant Stage Manager for Swept Away at the Longacre Theatre.
  • Jamie Salinger (BFA ’20) served on the stage management team for Kimberly Akimbo (Booth Theatre), The Lion King (Minskoff Theatre) and MJ: The Musical (Neil Simon Theatre).
  • Stark Sands (BFA ’01) starred as William Shakespeare in &Juliet at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre and will star as Big Brother in Swept Away at the Longacre Theatre.

  • Carrie St. Louis (BM Vocal Arts ’12) recently appeared in Kinky Boots (Al Hirschfeld Theatre) and Wicked (Gerswhin Theatre).
  • Karlie Teruya (BA ’21) was on the stage management team for KPOP: The Musical (Circle in the Square Theatre) and Into the Woods (St. James Theatre). You can read more about the Trojans working on Broadway’s Into the Woods stage management teams here.
  • Diana Vaden (BA ’12) performed in Once Upon a One More Time at the Marquis Theatre.
  • Donald Webber, Jr. (BFA ’08) performed in Purlie Victorious at the Music Box Theatre and will perform in Our Town at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre.
