Second Stage: Bat Boy: The Musical

Bat Boy The Musical

April 24–27, 2025

Summary

Based on “a true story” in The Weekly World News, this ridiculous, heartfelt musical comedy/horror show is about a half boy/half bat found in a cave in the hills of West Virginia. Bat Boy is taught to act like a “normal” boy, but will his happiness be shattered when the town discovers the shocking secret of his unholy origin? With infectious music and dark humor, this offbeat production challenges conventions and leaves audiences spellbound by its quirky charm. Featuring the BFA in Musical Theatre Sophomore Class.
