Summary
This multi-media web experience is a deconstruction of Karel Capek’s incredibly prophetic 1937 play The White Plague, about what happens when a global pandemic strikes the world, killing all in its path. Designed in a theoretical, immersive space set on the USC campus, the experience will be an exploration of the intersection of science and politics; and will ask questions about what it means to be a citizen – and a human being – in a world that is torn apart.
