New Works

Play 1: Click

By Christina Carrafiell

Two brothers, opposite in nature yet bonded by their love of acting, are torn apart by their love for Kathy, who they believe died because of them. With a larger world catastrophe killing off everyone else around them, they are left to figure out what it means to be human – and what really happened to Kathy. A slyly comic view of love, death and alternate reality.

Play 3: Weekend Warriors

By Adi Eshman

Cameron does WWII weekend mock-battle reenactments but needs to find one more person for his Allied battalion – otherwise, they’ll be forced to join the German Axis side. When he invites his African American coworker Wade, he unearths a flood of unexpected questions and awakens the ghosts of those who were really there. A darkly comic look at historical memory, and what happens when nostalgia collides with gender, race and sexuality.
