Play 2: the blood of a hibiscus

In MFADW student Zharia O’Neal’s the blood of a hibiscus, after a hurricane destroys the British Virgin Islands, a family takes asylum in the United States and tears itself apart with baggage, dreams, and secrets.

Play 3: Breaking Barriers

Six students, from two different schools, are brought together in a cross-school exchange initiative to complete a history fair project on Breaking Barriers. The students represent various identities (race, ethnicity, gender, etc.). After much debate, they decide they will tackle “systemic racism,” but instead of them breaking the barrier, the barrier breaks them.
