Director of Internships & Special Programs
Meghan Laughlin has been with the School of Dramatic Arts for the past 10 years, the last six years spent in her current role as Director Internships & Special Programs. Her primary responsibilities include serving as a resource and advisor for SDA students in preparing applications, identifying and securing internships — as well as fostering relationships with companies and organizations that are a good match based on students’ career goals. She also produces the School’s Visions and Voices events and organizes a range of professional development events, from visiting artists to workshops and master classes. She has the best job! Prior to joining USC, Laughlin worked as an admissions counselor for the Alliance Theatre Company‘s Acting Program in Atlanta and in the artistic director’s office at Center Theatre Group in Los Angeles. She hails from Peoria, Ill., and received her BA in Theatre from Michigan State University.
