Biography
Meghan Laughlin joined the School of Dramatic Arts in 2005 and after serving in various administrative capacities found her passion and joy working with students in her current position as Director of Internships & Special Programs. Her primary responsibilities include serving as a resource and advisor for SDA students in identifying, preparing applications, and securing pre-professional internships in the industry — as well as fostering relationships with external companies and organizations that are a good match based on students’ career goals. She also produces and manages a number of initiatives and programs within the school including, SDA Visions and Voices events, Career Center programs, Spotlight@SDA, the High School Summer Theatre Conservatory and many more. She is a jack of all trades and loves working with the faculty, staff, and students of Dramatic Arts! Prior to joining USC, Meghan worked as an admissions counselor for the Alliance Theatre Company‘s Acting Program in Atlanta, GA, and in the artistic director’s office at Center Theatre Group in Los Angeles. She hails from Peoria, IL, received her BA in Theatre from Michigan State University, and will complete her MS in Project Management from USC in 2022.
