CallbackVideo, article document 1969 SDA production of 'Macbeth'

Take a peak back in time to our 1969 production of Macbeth at the Stop Gap Theatre (a former Dramatic Arts venue), when the School of Dramatic Arts was once the Division of Drama at USC. The archived video, from USC’s Hugh M. Hefner Moving Image Archive, documents a rehearsal with our actors — who play the Three Witches, also known as the Weird Sisters — and director and MFA student Robert Mills. Our acting students and graduate director discuss the character development process and collaborating together. An article announcing the production can be found in an issue of the Daily Trojan, dated Dec. 11, 1969.
