Summary

Shakespeare’s beloved romantic comedy spins a whirlwind of passion and disguise in Illyria. When Viola is shipwrecked and separated from her twin brother, she disguises herself as a young man and becomes entangled in a romantic triangle with Duke Orsino and the Countess Olivia. With some of Shakespeare’s most exquisite poetry and wit, Twelfth Night celebrates the beautiful chaos that ensues when love refuses to follow reason. The play’s timeless exploration of disguise, desire, and the heart’s defiance of logic feels more relevant than ever.
