The Legacy Project video series honors words of Black artists through theatrical vignettes

Featuring SDA faculty, alumni, and students, the Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion’s The Legacy Project is a series of theatrical vignettes uplifting the words of Black artists and activists throughout history, which are intertwined with performance to convey the history of the Black journey in America and across the diaspora. Each vignette personifies an essential reality of the Black community, from love to joy and heartbreak to triumph. To honor and celebrate the contribution of these Black artists and activists, the SDA community brings to the modern day the words of those that came before us. In doing so, we remember and honor the legacy they created and lay the foundation for our own.
