Thank you to all the families and alumni who attended the 2015 Trojan Family Weekend event at the USC School of Dramatic Arts!
The School of Dramatic Arts was excited to welcome more than a hundred families in celebration of Trojan Family Weekend, an annual event held in the fall that invites families to participate in tours, classes, workshops and open houses on campus.
The School’s events commenced with a breakfast reception and conversation with Interim Dean David Bridel, followed by an alumni-led panel on preparing students for the future. The panel, a highlight of the weekend, featured SDA alums Brandon Bell (BA ’07), Adam Blumenthal (BFA ’07), Will Greenberg (BFA ’02), Devin Kelley (BFA ’08) and Anthony Sparks (BFA ’94).
The day continued with an acting Shakespeare workshop, an acting lecture about chasing emotion versus playing an action and a behind-the-scenes production meeting for our show, The Quick-Change Room, as well as included a discussion on the academic progression and a guided tour of the School.
