Samantha Bradfield

Academic Advisor

Sam has bounced back and forth between Arizona and Colorado but is thrilled to start a brand-new adventure in Los Angeles with the USC School of Dramatic Arts! She graduated with her Master of Arts in Higher Education from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2022 and earned her Bachelor of Music Education from Northern Arizona University in 2015. She has worked in higher ed in various capacities at CU Boulder, the University of Denver and Arapahoe Community College. Prior to her time in higher ed, Sam taught elementary school band in Phoenix, AZ.

Sam has always been passionate about equity and access to performing arts education, and is beyond excited to combine these passions at a world-class institution like USC and the SDA! She is especially interested in student success initiatives in performing arts admissions and advising, as well as the similarities and differences between performing arts students and student-athletes.

In her free time, Sam covers the Colorado Rockies for Purple Row. She also enjoys Phoenix Suns basketball, playing piano, watching Grey’s Anatomy on repeat, and spending time with her partner and two cats, Simon and Pascal.
