About the Collaboration
This Homecoming, the USC School of Dramatic Arts (SDA) is proud to once again join the renowned USC Trojan Marching Band for PINK: A Homecoming Halftime Tribute in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The production marks the second halftime partnership between SDA and the Trojan Marching Band, continuing a collaboration that brings together student artists and musicians for an unforgettable performance on one of USC’s biggest stages.
Bringing together music, movement, storytelling and Trojan spirit, PINK honors those whose lives have been touched by breast cancer: patients, survivors, loved ones, caregivers, advocates and the researchers working toward a cure.
Celebrating the strength, confidence and joy of pink, the show features music inspired by Barbie, Legally Blonde, Mean Girls and Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies. These fan-favorite worlds come together in a vibrant theatrical journey filled with friendship, individuality and unapologetic self-expression, all brought to life through the energy of the Trojan Marching Band and SDA’s student artists.
The collaboration also showcases the breadth of USC’s creative community. Student performers, musicians, designers, stage managers and production artists unite their talents across the football field. The performance reflects SDA’s commitment to preparing artists for every medium, from the stage and screen to large-scale live events, and demonstrates how storytelling can build connection, inspire action and bring a community together.
SDA is honored to collaborate with the student musicians of the Trojan Marching Band, “The Greatest Marching Band in the History of the Universe, Ever!” Together, these students represent the imagination, excellence and generous spirit of USC. They remind us that no member of our community faces breast cancer alone.
