Associate Professor of Theatre Practice Paula Cizmar’s new play, Along The River, Almost Winter will perform on Sept. 29 at Antaeus Theatre Company’s Lab Results, a play festival that celebrates writers as they develop and nurture new classics. Playwrights participating in the event

Along The River, Almost Winter follows Perdita in an adaption of Shakespeare’s The Winter Tale, set during the Gold Rush. Associate Professor of Theatre Practice Stephanie Shroyer will direct the production.

Cizmar is an award-winning playwright who has been produced around the country. Past works include Strawberry, The Chisera, January, Street Stores, Candy & Shelley Go to the Desert, and Still Life with Parrot & Monkey.
