Biography

Paul Hungerford is Associate Artistic Director of Outside In Theatre and a faculty member at the USC School of Dramatic Arts. An actor, improviser and director, Hungerford studied acting and filmmaking at Emerson College in Boston. He continued his studies at the British American Dramatic Academy’s Summer in Oxford, England.

In Los Angeles, Hungerford has performed on stage, film and television for the last 25 years. He has been seen on TV in over fifty commercials and on television shows such as Grey’s Anatomy, Dirty, Sexy, Money and recurring roles on Bravo’s Significant Others and Disney’s Coop and Cami Ask The World. His film credits include Stark Raving Mad, Trouble Is My Business and Hate: A Comedy (winner of Best Short Film at the Aspen Comedy Festival). His voice over work has been a part of Blizzard Entertainment’s World of Warcraft: Mists of Panderia and the animated short film Nougat (winner of Best Short at the late night series at SXSW Film Festival).

Hungerford is a founding member of the horror film troupe Fewdio and has been directing films for them for over five years. Most recently, he directed the half-hour sketch comedy pilot for Warner Bros. On Demand’s Lipstick Jones: Half Hour Hour of Power! He lives in Burbank, CA, with his wife, two daughters and two giant dogs.
