The USC School of Dramatic Arts New Works Festival III at the Carrie Hamilton Theatre at The Pasadena Playhouse
A comedy about two sisters who ‘hatch’ a plan and take a gamble of their own to save their dysfunctional family from ruin when their father’s gambling debts bring a henchman to the door.
New Works Festival Year Three is a festival of plays by graduating playwrights of the MFA in Dramatic Writing program at the USC School of Dramatic Arts. The readings, which each have two public performances, are presented concert style with professional actors and directors.

In 2013, The Pasadena Playhouse and the USC School of Dramatic Arts launched their GREENHOUSE at The Playhouse partnership. Designed to provide opportunities and support for the graduate students of the MFA in Dramatic Writing program, GREENHOUSE culminates with the USC New Works Festival III at the Carrie Hamilton Theatre at The Pasadena Playhouse.
