Biography

Michael Paul Kramer is a production designer specializing in television, theatre and live events. Recent projects include: ESPN Las Vegas Studios, The Steve Harvey Show,  G4’s Attack of the Show and Xplay.

Other projects of note have been: Electronic Arts’ Madden studio, The Sims Spark’d, CBS Super Bowl at Jackson Square, The IMDb show, PUBG Mobile Challenge, NBC Sports Network, The Golf Channel’s Morning Drive, NFL Network’s Gameday Morning and Total Access.

Event designs have included: The Papal visit to Ground Zero, NFL Super Bowl Experience, NBA Allstar Game, Reebok Classics and a Paul Simon concert at the Beacon Theatre.

Designs for the theatre: Putnam County Spelling Bee and The Trailer Park Musical at Sierra Repertory Theatre, Ragtime and Children of Eden at APAC, Saturday Night Fever (NorthShore Music Theatre), My Fair Lady (Theatre by the Sea), The Wake of Jamey Foster (Cherry Lane Theatre), A Christmas Story (Seacoast Repertory) and Steel Magnolias (Le Petit Theatre NOLA).

Awards: 2-time New York Innovative Theatre Award Winner – Outstanding Scenic Design for Ragtime and Children of Eden. The Webby and The Telly Award for EA’s Spark’d. Sports Emmy nominated – Outstanding Production Design for SportsNation and ESPN’s World Cup South Africa studio.

Kramer is a proud native of New Orleans, LA. He received his BS in Industrial Engineering from Southeastern Louisiana University and later received an MFA in Scenic Design at Western Illinois University.
