On Jan. 12, the School of Dramatic Arts dedicated the Massman Theatre as its ghost light theatre, a reminder of art and activism, and that all are welcome. As part of theatre tradition, a ghost light will remain lit in the Massman, even after performances have closed, to symbolize hope, possibility, safety, refuge, creativity, empathy and compassion. In dedication of the space to the power of art, the collective read Citizen, written by Claudia Rankine.
