Machinal Streamed Performances

Virtual Production

Summary

Unable to gain financial independence in the 1920s, a young woman is drawn into a loveless marriage with her boss that ends in murder. Based on the true crime story of Ruth Snyder, and written by investigative journalist and playwright Sophie Treadwell, Machinal is a fearlessly frank exploration of someone pushed to breaking point by the relentless machinery of life, expectation and convention.
