In Jen Franco’s capacity as Events Manager, she organizes all official events for the School including Commencement, Trojan Family Weekend, SDA Awards Ceremony, SDA Scholarship Luncheon, Parent Welcomes and many other fun events. In addition to organizing school events, she supports the Sparks Center for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion with programming and events and she manages ticketing for the SDA season of plays. She is a proud alumna of USC, receiving her MS in Project Management at USC Bovard College and her BFA in Stage Management at USC School of Dramatic Arts. As part of a stage management team, she has worked on productions throughout Southern California on some of the area’s most illustrious stages including WET: A DACAmented Journey directed Brisa Areli Muñoz (Kirk Douglas Theatre); Head of Passes directed by Tina Landau, Water by the Spoonful directed by Lileana Blain-Cruz (Mark Taper Forum); Destiny of Desire directed by José Luis Valenzuela, Ella Enchanted the Musical directed by Casey Stangl (South Coast Repertory); Aladdin and His Winter Wish directed by Spencer Liff (Laguna Playhouse). She loves stage managing, planning events, mentoring students and representing for SDA. When she isn’t at SDA she is at home with her husband Chris raising two mini Trojans, Jaxon and Julian. |
