Biography

Desi Jévon was born in northern California and raised in Honolulu. He has played The Matador on FX’s Legion, Paul in A Chorus Line (Po’okela nominee, Best Featured Actor), and Bernardo in West Side Story. He has also toured with Gloria Estefan, Toni Braxton’s Residency in Las Vegas, Selena Gomez, Prince Royce, Luis Fonsi, Alicia Keys, Brian Setzer Orchestra and The Playboy Jazz Festival at The Hollywood Bowl, print campaign for So You Think You Can Dance, World of Dance Super Bowl commercial, Dancing with the Stars, Lip Sync Battle, salsa champion on Univision’s Sabado Gigante, Wizards of Waverly Place, Crazy Ex Girlfriend, Kids and Teen Choice Awards, Saturday Night Live, Castle, Shake it Up, China’s hit film Gone with the Bullets, We Are Your Friends, and Gilmore Girls Reunion.

As choreographer, Desi is a 3-time World Choreography Award Nominee, his work can be seen on the upcoming rom-com by Paramount Plus called At Midnight, an upcoming Beyonce project, the opening number of The Imagen Awards televised on PBS, Mi Sueño es Bailar (Spanish Dancing with the Stars), VH-1’s Dating Naked (assoc), USA’s The Moment, Van Halen for both The Jimmy Kimmel Show and The Ellen Show, Celebrity Cruises (Turner Classic Movies), CBS’s Celebrity Big Brother, NBC’s First Look with The Bachelor‘s Ben Higgins, and assistant choreographer on CW’s Vampire Diaries, Netlfix’s I Think You Should Leave, CW’s Switched at Birth and Showtime’s Penny Dreadful: City of Angels.
