Biography

Daniel is a classically-trained singer, composer, conductor, and pianist who splits his time between New York City and Los Angeles. As a Broadway musician in NYC, he has played for productions such as Wicked, On Your Feet!, Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, The Cher Show, Avenue Q, tick tick BOOM!, Under the Bodhi Tree (American Premiere production), and the NY City Center Encores! production of Steven Sondheim’s Follies. Touring credits include Matilda: The Musical, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Wizard of Oz, and The Midtown Men (starring the four original leads from Broadway’s Jersey Boys). Daniel has worked for Broadway casting agencies such as Binder Casting, Tara Rubin CSA, and Telsey + Co. He has taught at NYU Tisch, AMDA, and was one of the founding members of the Professional Conservatory of Musical Theatre at the New York Film Academy. As composer/lyricist, Daniel’s original musicals have been produced in New York, London, and regionally across the United States; he has also written music and lyrics for multiple award-winning movie musical shorts. As part of the writing team of Lincoln & Schein, recent and upcoming original productions include Making Melrose, Fintastic Finn, The Remarkable Mister Holmes, Grecian Burns: A Musical Comedy, and The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate, based on the award-winning YA novel.
