From left: James Ward III, Elizabeth O'Connell, Ashley Singh, and Sara Fousekis, associate dean of advancement for the USC School of Dramatic Arts, celebrate alumni leadership and service to the USC Alumni Association Board of Governors.
Our sincere gratitude goes to Elizabeth O’Connell (BA ’84), who has served as the USC Alumni Association Board of Governors representative for the USC School of Dramatic Arts (SDA) for the past three years. Throughout her tenure, Elizabeth has been an extraordinary ambassador for SDA and the Trojan Family. She has represented Dramatic Arts, and the arts more broadly, with thoughtfulness and passion, serving as a dedicated advocate for SDA within the larger USC community.
Her generosity of spirit and unwavering commitment to our students and alumni have strengthened our community in countless ways. Bringing enthusiasm and warmth to everything she does, Elizabeth has exemplified a deep love for USC in every interaction, and we are profoundly grateful for her dedicated service and partnership.
Stepping into this role is alumna Ashley Singh (BFA ’08), who will serve as SDA’s new representative on the USC Alumni Association Board of Governors. Ashley studied Stage Management at SDA and has remained a dedicated alumna through her continued involvement with annual events and performances. She is excited to deepen her engagement with the broader USC volunteer community while bringing fresh ideas and energy to the Board.
We also extend our appreciation to James Ward III (BA ’11), who will also serve on the USC Alumni Association Board of Governors through a special appointment. James’s leadership and commitment to the Trojan Family continue to strengthen the broader USC community, and we are grateful for his ongoing service.
Thank you to Elizabeth O’Connell, James Ward III, and Ashley Singh for their dedication to the USC School of Dramatic Arts and the USC Alumni Association.
