This year, SDA alum Daniel Rashid BA ’15 graced the Sundance screens as Yoni in the upcoming film Beast Beast. The film premiered at the prestigious Utah film festival last month.

Beast Beast follows high school student Krista as she finds herself increasingly drawn to skating classmate Nito. As their relationship blossoms, their lives become intertwined with her gun-loving neighbor, Adam, ultimately reaching a breaking point.

Rashid is a series regular in the upcoming Pop TV series Best Intentions and the YouTube Premium mini-series The Edge of the Seventeen. His recent TV credits include The Rich & the Ruthless, Taking Stock and Geoffrey the Dumbass. His film credits include Being Frank, Stargate Origins: Catherine, and the short films Splitting the Bill, Condoms and Cherries, Skin and Running Out. At USC, Rashid was in a production of Summer Brave.
