Blue Stockings (Streamed Performances)

Blue Stockings Streamed

April  3–6, 2025

Virtual Production

Summary

The year is 1896. Few universities accept women, and those pursuing academics are disdainfully labeled “Blue Stockings” – unnatural, educated women. Girton College, Cambridge becomes the first college in Britain to open their doors to a cohort of excited and ambitious female students determined to fight for their education. More than just a historical drama, Blue Stockings is a celebration of female intellect and a testament to the power of friendship and perseverance.
