Summer Institute for International ArtistsCurriculum

Classes are taught by the internationally-acclaimed faculty of the USC School of Dramatic Arts. The School’s faculty of working artists are experts in their field and have an intimate understanding of the industry.

Classes Include:

Acting Explore the craft of acting through the methods of America’s great acting teachers.
Acting for the Camera Examine the dynamics of acting in relation to film/television.
Voice Learn how to use the voice in performance, on screen and on stage.
Professional Seminar Join top agents, casting directors and other industry leaders as they discuss the business of acting.
Movement Experience the physical life of the actor through multiple exercises and explorations.
Improvisation Discover creativity, spontaneity, and teamwork through the world of improvisation.
Solo Performance Create and perform your own story through guided prompts and improvisations.
Clowning Take risks in the topsy-turvy world of the clown, based on the principles of the famous pedagogue Jacques Lecoq.
