Showcasing the emerging voices of the School’s second-year MFA in Dramatic Writing students with workshop productions featuring professional directors and dramaturges, and School of Dramatic Arts’ actors.

Play 1: Switches

Switches follows Detective Childs as she embarks on a journey to find where the missing black women have gone. Through her investigations, she is forced to put a magnifying glass to a system that has abandoned the black and missing. Detective Childs comes to discover that perhaps these women are better off lost than found.

When a young man loses his job, girlfriend, and home all at once, he relies on the wisdom and kindness of an eclectic trio living under a bridge. But when $5,000 dollars surfaces, self-preservation begins to prevail. Net of Worth explores the question: where does love go in a world domineered by money?

Tickets purchased in person at the USC Ticket Office: students, faculty and staff, $8; general public, $15. Tickets purchased by phone or online are $17.

Parking

Discounted parking is available for $12, except on USC football game days. Please inform the gate officer you are attending a School of Dramatic Arts performance. Parking on game days is $25.
