Charl Brown is a Tony Award nominee for best featured actor in a musical for his portrayal of Smokey Robinson in Motown: The Musical. His other Broadway appearances include Jersey Boys and the original cast of Sister Act. Other stage credits include Walmartopia (off-Broadway), Jersey Boys (Las Vegas tour), and Hair (European tour). He currently plays Jordan in the tv series Wisco Queens.
