As part of a global university—America’s leader in international education—the USC School of Dramatic Arts has developed collaborative partnerships around the world since 1966. Our official and affiliate programs are located as far and wide as Brazil, India, China, Rwanda, and the UK, and recent and current students have also created their own opportunities in France and the Czech Republic.
We currently have 21 international students in our midst, including a Fulbright Scholar and a recipient of USC’s International Artist Fellowship. In recent years, the School has welcomed students, on both the graduate and undergraduate levels, from Canada, the UK, Hong Kong, China, India, Mexico, Bolivia, Turkey, Brazil, France, Japan, Romania, South Korea, Singapore, South Africa, Switzerland, Russia, Germany and Norway.
Our faculty continues to forge a remarkable range of projects overseas. From scholarship in China to field-work in Iran and the Ukraine; from productions in Afghanistan to conferences in Holland; from master-teaching in Norway to outreach and recruiting in Australia; the width and breadth of our work continues to affect theaters, communities, and social endeavors in every corner of the world.
SDA students frequently choose to travel as part of their education, and a broad range of student global opportunities are available.
